Once a vehicle reaches its 3rd birthday, it is subject to an annual Ministry of Transport test. This is to ensure all vehicles on the road are safe to use and minimise their environmental impact.
Lovell Landrovers has for many years been offering MOT Testing for all types of petrol & diesel vehicles up to class 4 either with/without catalyst exhaust systems.
Our Ministry of Transport certification ensures your vehicle is in the hands of fully qualified engineers, and any problem is resolved to the satisfaction of yourself and stringent UK road standards.
The MOT scheme is a road safety measure to help ensure that vehicles are:
- Properly maintained
- Examined annually to check that they comply with certain legal requirements.
- The class 4 MOT test applies to cars, and light vans that are three years old and over on an annual basis.
We carry out MOTs on all makes of vehicle, by appointment should you wish. Appointments are available Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
If your old MOT has up to a 28 days left before it expires you can still have your car MOT tested and have it forward dated, this way it gives you plenty of time to get any repairs carried out before your old MOT expires. However we must have your old MOT certificate or registration document if it is the cars first MOT at our station or on the computerized system, before we can commence the test.
